Do you like Rollerderby?

Submitted by Kevin Malcolm on March 23, 2010 – 10:52 amView Comments

JAMDo you like comics?

How about comic anthologies about Rollerderby that has a story in it written by yours truly?

If so then have I got something for you!

JAM! Tales from the World of Roller Derby is an anthology book being put out by ONI in June and will contain a 12 page story written by me; a story that crams time travel, clowns, nuns, and the worlds first mammal all into those 12 pages and has art by an amazing artist named Rashad Doucet.

If you have any interest at all or just want to be awesome and order it to support your 5th favorite comic book podcaster just go to your local comic shop and give them Diamond Order Code – MAR10 1103 or just give them the name of the comic (JAM!) and the company (ONI) and they should be able to order it for you.

Thanks!

    I like comics!
I'll be in Vegas when JAM! comes out and I know a rollerderby girl who lives there!

Question!–> if you search for it's ISBN on amazon you get another book with almost the same name, different cover, more pages and different artist listed. Supposedly out last July. What it that?

Yes I know, I could've posted the link. But what's the fun in that :P

Thomas, the book was supposed to be out last July but was delayed so its the same book just being resolicited.
Which Derby girl do you know in Vegas? I know quite a few here in Seattle.

So we get 50 pages less for $4 more? BOOOOOOO!!

She's in The Notorious VIP. Part of the Fabulous Sin City Rollergirls.

Well the list price is still $20 like it was on Amazon back then but yes, I guess they've cut down on the content. But still, 144 pages of awesome derby action for $20 or less (depending on store or online discount) is still a great deal right? :)
