Does anyone really like Wally West anyway?

Fact: There are too many superheroes. I demand at least a 15% reduction. I will give a pass to D-level supporting cast types, so Kilowog is safe, guys, don’t get all butthurt. I’m talking getting rid of boring, stupid characters who inexplicably get tons of page-time.

This is a serious suggestion! Remind me how Donna Troy has contributed anything of merit ever, to any storyline in the history of comics. Do the X-Men really need Kitty Pryde? Was Damian Wayne a necessary addition to the Batfamily? Can’t we just keep the two gay Young Avengers and get rid of the rest? Tell me the DC Universe wouldn’t be better if Parallax ripped off Kyle Rayner’s face and we never had to see his stupid crab mask again!

Actually, the more I think about this, the more I realize that maybe I am a little grouchy today and just want all the characters that I hate to die. Is that so wrong, though?

Whoa…there may have to be intarwebs fisticuffs here Ahe-
Wally West is a *much* more interesting character than Barry Allen. Barry was a much better martyr than he was an actual leading character. Barry should have stayed dead.
And as for Kyle? I actually prefer him to Hal and prefer Guy over all of them but thats just me.

Does this mean you supported the “Scarlet Witch gone crazy/no more mutants” thing Marvel did a few years back?

It's not necessarily wrong, but I do worry about deus ex machina heavy-handedness in killing off large amount of characters all at once

I agree that Guy rules, but what is there to like about Kyle? He's so…soapy. I dislike him so much that I actually started rooting for Jason Todd during Countdown.

Hmm, but w/House of M, the characters were still there, they just weren't mutants anymore. I'm saying there are just too many characters, period, and they should focus on the ones that don't suck. And if they have to kill Wonder Girl to do it, so be it.

I like Kyle for how he was written when he first got the ring; green (hardy har), unsure but exuberant and with true moments of heroism. Yes he can be a whiner but I am willing to forgive that because he always had the most fun ring constructs
I agree get rid of Wonder Girl and instead bring back Wonder Tot. Those were some hilarious stories!
